The images displayed on this site are from my digital collection. I have always been an avid explorer of New Zealand’s majestic countryside. Hunting with a rifle was something I was never at ease with, and which I later realised was just an excuse to get me into the Southern Alps which are at my back door (almost). I therefore had far more success with a camera as most things I photograph don’t move! The urge to preserve the feelings I had about the mountains and the natural environment of this gifted country with its wild places and magnificent scenery, was the catalyst for my photography and this website provides the opportunity to share it with others.
