On a recent visit to Christchurch during a gloomy weekend, I found that the cherry trees in Hagley Park were in bloom, although were past their best as they had blossomed earlier this year than normal. The daffodils however did provide their usual counterpoint of yellow. My intention to photograph them was thwarted, but I present these images of past photographs as a token of my intent.
