During the week a camping trip over 5 days was made to Loch Katrine in the Lake Sumner Conservation Park with my 4×4 camper. While the weather was wild at times – strong winds and rain mixed with fine spells – I did manage to achieve my goal of capturing the essence of the area with photos on my hikes along both sides of the Loch. Road access to the Loch proved to be interesting with potholes large enough to float a dinghy (water included) but added to the entertainment of the trip. Farmland surrounds the loch which gives limited access to the hills containing it – therefore no hill climbs!
